While most of us associate security camera footage with the worst events in society, a new commercial from Coca-Cola is encouraging people to look at the good things captured on closed circuit video. According to an interview in MediaBistro, company reps say they wanted to “remind people that acts of kindness and bravery are taking place around them all the time.”


In just six days, the commercial has been viewed 4.6 million times on YouTube.


Both security cameras and soda consumption are a controversial subject in the news right now, and this ad combines both of them in a positive light. It’s extremely well edited and effective. Watch for yourself…
