WHAT:
Sean Ohlenkamp is the art director at Toronto-based ad agency Lowe Roche. After putting together this small stop-motion video in his home last July, he decided to take things to the next level. He partnered with Toronto’s Type Bookstore, and created a tribute video to the printed page. Who says books don’t have any fun?
STATS:
Since being posted on January 9th, the video has attracted more than 1 million views. It’s been shared more than 100,000 times on Facebook and Tweeted more than 30,000 times.
WHY WE LOVE IT:
Can you imagine the time it took to keep rearranging all of these books? Ohlenkamp rightfully lists the names of the 25 volunteers who helped out. We also love how the video singles out one particular store, but serves a bigger purpose of promoting the printed word. Goes to show that hard, painstaking work can lead to something incredibly special.
