WHAT: “The hardest job in the world, is the best job in the world.” With 100 days out until the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Proctor & Gamble called upon director Alejandro González Iñárritu to put together a short film honoring the mothers of Olympic athletes. We see various children from around the world being fed breakfast, carted to and from practice, and finally competing on the world stage – with the mother who followed them through life watching in the stands.

STATS: In just three days, the video has racked up more than 300,000 views.

WHY WE LOVE IT: Sorry….had to wipe the tears poured all over the keyboard before I started typing this. Iñárritu knows how to conjure up emotion (think “21 Grams,” “Babel,” “Amores Perros”). Here he shows how effectively it can be done in just two minutes. Whether you’re a parent now, or just thinking back at what your own parents did for you, this spot will hit home. Watch….
