Blind-Dog-Sees

WHAT: The non-profit Hope For Paws rescues dogs who are suffering on the streets or in shelters. One of its rescues, who they named Fiona, was blind in both eyes and living in a pile of trash. After some grooming and a trip to a doctor, they were able to restore sight in one of the dog’s eyes and find a home for her. The group put together a video montage and uploaded it to YouTube. Fiona is now an internet sensation.
STATS: The video was uploaded on March 17th, and it’s been seen more than 800,000 times. That doesn’t count other YouTubers who have ripped the video and posted it on their own channels, where it’s been seen more than 1 million times.
WHY WE LOVE IT: While we’d love to hear more natural sound instead of the Avril Lavigne track, the piece is extremely effective. By embracing the power of video, HopeForPaws has been able to bring a lot of attention to their organization, which will hopefully help more animals. Check out the video below….
