NEW-MYSPACE

As the world burns about the big, bad call in last night’s Monday Night Football game (just don’t bring it up around video editor and avid Green Bay Packers fan John Courchane), it’s time to take a look at today’s headlines in tech!

– Yesterday, we got a first look at the new Myspace.

That’s right, the social networking site is hoping to make a comeback.

Pop star Justin Timberlake is now a big investor, and he shows up plenty in the site’s introduction video…

The question is whether people will return to the site they abandoned years ago. Right now, Myspace plans to send out invites to the new platform. We’ll see if/when it takes off.

– CNET’s Joshua Goldman reviewed the cameras on the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy SIII, and the HTC One X. Here’s his conclusion:

“I hesitate to pick an overall winner here — my time shooting with all three was brief — but when it came down to picture quality, the iPhone 5 regularly produced excellent photos regardless of lighting. The One X is a pretty close second, however, turning out photos with nice color and detail. The Galaxy S3 turns out very good pictures, too, but they’re not as usable at larger sizes as the iPhone 5’s.”

Click on over to CNET to see a photo gallery comparing shots of all three. After looking at the different scenarios, the iPhone 5’s color quality looks best, but it’s close.

– Speaking of the iPhone 5, Gizmodo posted this fun YouTube video showing people how to build a dock for just $1. Watch….
